Yes you heard(read) that right. It's been a year since i last posted (and logged-in) in this blog. I've tried to make this blog really creative but sometimes we end up staring at a blank wall. I've even created another blog just to make reviews on hotels / condominiums i've lived. But things have changed and new sites emerged. Prior to blogger i wrote my entries on Xanga but it's too limited to subscribers only, then i moved here in Blogger to get more audience and to try out Ad-Sense [earned less than a dollar :-(]. The following year i moved to the US and myspace is the 'in' thing there so i created one but it ended as a fan site of mine to local Austin celebrities. Friendster got a boost when it got a major facelift so i tried posting one entry..... and then again i saw people's shout out saying... "visit me at xxxxx.multiply.com". What another site??? (i've been using multiply ages ago but just to download mp3s)

so right now... i'm shutting this down and moving to multiply.... who knows blogger might merge with multiply someday since both companies seems to be associated with google. BTW it's an effort to post this last entry since i have to "reclaim" when i logged in.

Got non-lezbo T.A.T.U pics?

Lately I've been updating the songs in my mp3 player since most of them are outdated and doesn't keep me up anymore in the gym (oh yes i'm working out yet the results are not that significant..... yet!). As usual i check TRL, ChartAttack and Top of the Pops for the latest songs prior to downloading their mp3s. I came accros "All About Us" by T.A.T.U., the russian schoolgirls who got hold of the mic and belt out some songs or should i say M2M gone Lezbo?. Remembering them with the song "All the Things she said" and "Not Gonna Get Us", i tried listening to the song and guess what? the same style of multiple repetition of n-word phrases for the chorus. So i said crap, that will make me drowzy in the gym.

Days later I heard the "All the things she said" phrase/tune again on MTV as an intro to their music video of "All About Us" as their way of saying 'Remember us? We release that song, now listen to this.' . With all the skepticism about their song i still got hooked as newspaper flashes are shown with them and their sexuality as headlines. So "Are they or Are They Not?" says one newsflash as they sit in a resto in a usual LQ scenario. Still i'm watching the video with more focus on Lena Katina, the curlyhaired red-head girl of the duo. I don't know but why do i got the feeling i'm getting hooked with curly haired recently instead of the usual Rei type, I actually got close to one foreigner in Shang while going down the escalator, she was in front of me, i have all the chance to touch (or caress) the hair if only her arab looking bf is not around to hit me if she screams. 'Mir'

So the video ended and Lena is still there, in my head. Am i getting a hang of lezbo flicks? The last i've seen is an anime called 'Mai Hime' from Anthony - nice one Baso! (^_^)... So back to my post title - "Got non-lezbo T.A.T.U pics?" or at least Lena Katina pics? I can't search in the office since Google search results always has pics that may deem offensive to others, hehehe.

I wasn't after the brand when i buy things and besides i was able to get it at a very nice package with lots of freebies. Filipinos are known to celebrate the Christmas season the longest, usually on the 'ber' months (Septem'ber') you start hearing christmas songs in the radio. By Filipino standards Christmas trees and lanterns are setup right after All Saints Day, Holloween is not much of a big thing in this country. And by standards the family started really late... December 16 to be exact. We were unable to setup the trees and lights because of the pending house renovation. Now it's too late to setup, we just rushed everything to catch up with christmas. Even our Christmas tree is barely decorated... 400 lights and 30 balls only heheheh. The pictures below summarizes it all.

In the small intestine, fat triggers the release of hormones signaling the gallbladder to send bile.
Bile emulsifies fats. Oils and fats mix in a watery solution.

As if a cargo plane can fly to the weather-free zone called the stratosphere! Your passenger don't have oxygen mask that will drop down from the ceiling.

Good movie but what happened to the "Jinx Guy"? 20 feet from the plane and he's already lost???

F.A.B.! A former astronaut billionaire dad and his "basketball team' (five sons) were the crew of 5 thunderbirds made specifically for international rescue. With dad and four elder brood trapped in thunderbird 5 and thunderbird 2 in the hands of The Hood, it's up to Alan and his playmates to save the world using the rest of the tbirds.

Summer 05': Town Fiesta

The months of April and May are peak season for town fiestas/festivals in the Philippines. Today the family went to to my dad's hometown in Cavite. As the self declared coffee capital of the country, it is weird that they didn't call it Coffee Festival like they did a few years back. Business was not good these days, we didn't even bother knowing what happened to the last harvest from our coffee plantation. As a result the town fiesta is a more modest this time, yet the locals didn't bother the hard times and manage to prepare 3-8 course meals for visitors. My favorites are their sopas (using spaghetti pasta), menudo (cooked in margarine and atsuwete instead of tomato sauce) and stuffed meat loafs hotdogs inside (yes you can find hotdogs in meatloafs, spaghetti, menudo and even sopas ... a cheap substitute for meat); and it all mean one thing.... take home viands =). Hell week was over, at least for me.

After almost two months of over staying at the office to do my thesis, the day of reckoning has come complete with a panel of judges and the dean for graduate studies. Although i'm confident about my thesis, there's alway a room for nervousness and it's a big room 'cause i've been shaking the whole day before.

...is the day of my defense. I'm not really sure why i chose thursday for the defense but there's something about Hs.
Well everything was good that day, with only one sure panel on my side it sure went well. Here's a chronology that day:

- 0730 - woke up, remind my panels and adviser for my defense
- 0845 - took MRT at Shaw to Taft, can't help but notice the two people doing the mime; to attract people to taste Homi pancit canton. and feel lucky that i don't have to do that as a job, i knew the feeling 'cause i did the sign langauge at the Xmas party. Humilating but it's for fun, not as a job. No time to shoot without killing sorry no pics.
- 0920 - LRT to UN station
- 0940 - cab to Mapua
- 1000 - 1100 - oral presentation
- 1105 - Verdict: Pass with minor revision (i just have to add a sentence in my scope).
- 1130 - Did my revisions and printing at the graduate studies office (6 pages two copies all for free!.... thrifty me)
- 1200 - have my approval sheet signed, including the dean. (Hey i don't know their protocol eh)
- 1300 - 1600 - the hunt for best rush bookbind, ended at up copytrade in La Salle, can't find a bookbinding service at Mapua.
- 1630 - CDA for a meal.

I can finally hear Verdi's Triumphal March from Adia again. (^_^)!

Yesterday, I went to Fusion Glorietta to claim my shoes. The category for the shoes i won was "Sports". I was taken to this section of the store to choose which shoe i want.

I asked for the latest model and also the most expensive one (hehehe). I really liked the shoe on the bottom right (4,3), it was the most expensive in the category but unfortunately when they verified it's model it just got mixed in the Sports category, it was actually in the Reggae category damn! So i have to settle for the other models. So i chose (2,3) instead, it was the latest model according to the sales assistant, and it was the most expensive in the Sports series.

I still wish i got the (4,3)! ^_^!

I'm have officially spent almost 18 of my 22 years in the classroom. With only 2 months to go i'll be attending my 5th Graduation Ceremony.

This time i'm, or we are expecting latin honors.

But before that, there's only one more obstacle to get rid of and its called Thesis specifically a MASTER's Thesis. I have no more Life (read: social life) since this thesis began, (spending two thirds of my day coding and the rest will be for sleeping). So here i am staying late (should i say early?) in the office till 2am since i don't have a pc in my condo. Good thing is i leave nearby but with a price, a very expensive price!

It's 12:09am now so i guess that's it for now. Wish me luck.

I'll discuss my thesis some other time.

For the past few weeks (every weekends), i've been asked to set up the xmas decors in the house, it has been my task to attach the strands of green leaves? (don't know what it's called), set up the xmas tree, and install the lights; attaching the xmas ornaments and decors are not my thing so i leave that to mom.

Rain Rain Go Away, Don't Spoil my Holiday

Monday afternoon and i'm on my way to my pad. It's been raining all day and i'm worried because i left my shoes to dry (which i washed last friday) at the window of my pad thinking it would probably dry when i return . So i got off at SM Megamall to do some grocery shopping for the week. After the shopping i proceed to walk to my pad, there are no tricycles in Ortigas and taking the taxi would cost me much because the traffic routing in the city will make the cab go around circles just to get to my place. It was raining cats and dogs, (or maybe wolves and lions) and i was carrying my backpack of dry clothes for the week, my packed astronout meals on the left hand + the grocery i bought, 2 gallons of water on the right hand and a huge golf umbrella. The wind is blowing crazy and my umbrella flipped backward like a wine glass collecting the rain, i was just 200 metres from my place. BTW i live about a kilometer from megamall and i was used to long distance walking. When i got home the shoes i washed are wet, so i stuffed it with newspapers and put it behind the fridge to dry. i unpacked my things and tested the earphone i bought earlier. Room Make-over Before and After...

The contest ad says they were going to do a similar makeover like Knock First and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy in ETC. I have'nt seen the shows since i rarely watch tv anymore, and we don't have ETC on our local cable. The mechanics of the contest is that i send the most horrible pics of my room and the reason why and they will send in the specialist to play as fairy godmother. So, upon arriving at my unit i made the room look very empty and messy. I darkened the light to give it a murky feel. The clothes scattered in the room are clean, i took the pictures when i got home from the province so all i got are neat clothes and the hampers are empty. My unit is not that big, only a studio type, but i'm proud to call it my own because i pay the rent by myself.

A week later i got the email from the PR firm handling the contest for the Philippine Daily Inqruirer, three days later the PR representative (Janette), a 2BU correspondent PDI (Vanessa), and 4 students from PSID (Lennie, Mel, Chico and another girl forgot her name) came to the unit to do the ocular inspection.

The PSID team then returned three weeks later to do the makeover. The results are the following...

Dream: Treats from Maroon 5

I rarely have dreams, or maybe i usually don't remember them when i woke up, and when i have one most of the time it is weird or disturbing.

Last night i have this dream. I'm in a big hallway with rooms, as i enter a room, a member of Maroon 5 is there performing their songs. Next scene is they are performing together in a big room. They are supposed to do their final act when all of a sudden, it's already the next day in a different place. It turns out that they have been performing for almost eight hours yesterday. So the next day and scene is in a sandy place, maybe a beach or somewhere else. They were waiting for me and was about to do their final act. It was a magic act, it's evident to their awkward action that it's their first time to do the act. First they place a cover(red) of a trunk of a car on the ground, cover it with newspapers, dirt and sand. Then they ask me to dig thru the pile and pull the trunk, the trunk is now blue and as i pull it it was a whole car ( How i did that, i don't know. ), a 1965 Toyota Sports 800 UP-15 "Yotahachi". The car is cool, similar to Shun Ukiya's car in GateKeepers!

Pasta Days

Menu for the day(M,T,W): Spaghetti!

I've been eating spaghetti for the last three days and it seems i'm getting the hang of it. Right now i think i'm experiencing spaghetti rush (hey if there's sugar rush then there's gotta be one too).

Monday and tuesday i ate spaghetti whose pasta are like big straws; i don't know what it's called, my mom made it and it's like the straw of those pearl shake drinks. As a straw, it's hollow inside, i like the way when some ground meat and sauce get stucked inside just like spring rolls! (most of the time there's only air inside, maybe that's the reason for my flatulence recently =) hehehe).
As for today, Wed, i ate instant spaghetti by Maggi (see picture) for breakfast at the office, office hours start at 6am so there's no more time to eat breakfast at home, though i live about 200 metres away.

Gotta go now. I'm having lunch! hehehe joke

Almost lost my aim after 2 years

	It has been months or years since i last held my rifle... to my disappointment some of the lead bullets are now corroded and worse, I can't hit the target! Well i almost hit the bull's eye (see pic) but my precision has deteriorated. :(

Sunday is my all-day-tv-marathon-day. It usually starts at 1pm up to sawa. Badtrip nga eh kasi nakalimutan ko yung fight ni de la Hoya vs Hopkins tapos pagbukas ko eh nageexplain si de la Hoya yun pala talo na sya. kainis!

After that, i watched re-runs of Buffy the vampire slayer on Star World while switching channels to Cinemax to watch Blade II then switching back to Star World to watch Angel. Nde naman obvious na puro vampire or hell yung theme ng mga pinapanood ko.... hehehehe.
